Hiking to the Frozen Lagoon: a winter experience you will remember forever.

Imagine a snowy forest, a white trail that opens between ancient trees and a completely frozen lagoon surrounded by silence. This is how this adventure begins, designed for those who are looking to experience the snow for real, without haste and with everything well organized.

From meeting points near your accommodation, located between downtown Bariloche and km 8 of Bustillo or Pioneros Avenue, we leave in vehicles to the Neumeyer Refuge. There, the guides will prepare you for a snowshoe hike along a snow-covered trail, ideal for taking pictures, breathing fresh air and marveling at the scenery.

In the frozen lagoonYou will enjoy a hot tea with regional alfajor. It is a special moment: a rest in front of a landscape that looks like a movie. Then we return to the refuge for a full lunch, and the fun continues with culipatines in the snow. All in a safe, cozy and perfect environment to share.

You can choose between two shifts: from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm or from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. The tour includes transfers from meeting points, specialized guide, snowshoeing equipment, snacks and lunch. Snow clothes and drinks during lunch are not included.

Is the excursion physically demanding?
No. It is an easy hike, ideal for anyone in general health, with no previous experience required.

What should I bring?
Warm clothes, waterproof shoes, gloves, hat and, if you can, snow clothes. We provide the equipment for snowshoeing.

What is the schedule?
You can choose between morning (9:00 to 16:00) or afternoon (11:00 to 18:00), depending on what suits you best.

What happens if it rains or snows?
The ride is done anyway, as long as it is safe. In case of extreme bad weather, rescheduling is offered.
